What is Tel3?

Tel3 is a service that provides unprecedented low international and domestic calling rates. Tel3 uses ANI (Caller-ID) recognition so users do not have to enter a PIN each time they make long calls from their Instant Access numbers.

How do I sign up for Tel3?

The easiest and most convenient way is via our website (www.tel3.com). If you need additional assistance or do not have Internet access, you may sign up over the phone by calling Customer Support at 1-800-482-4459, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How good is the connection?

We have a technical department that is always working 24 hours 7 days a week to maintain the quality of our service.

What are the Instant Access Numbers?

The user can program up to 10 Instant Access numbers via Customer Login. These are numbers that the user expects to make frequent calls from. Anytime the customer places a call from any of these numbers, they will only have to enter the toll free access number: 1-800-999-5090 or the local access number, and then the number that they wish to call. By registering these phone numbers, the user alleviates the inconvenience of entering the account number and PIN each time they place a call. With this feature users can easily access the service from the convenience of their home, office, and mobile phone.

What if I need to make a call from a phone that isn’t one of my 10 Instant Access numbers?

If a user needs to place a call from a phone number that is not on their Quick PIN Access number list, they simply need to dial the access number: 1-800-999-5090, followed by their account number and personal PIN, and then the destination number. This way our service can be used from any phone you desire.

How do I get a PIN?

The first time you make a call from one of your Instant Access numbers you will be prompted to create a 4-digit personal PIN. You can also create a PIN online when you register.

How do I place a Domestic long distance call?

Dial 1-800-999-5090 or the local access number.
If you are not calling from one of your Instant Access numbers, enter your account number and PIN. If it is one of your Instant Access numbers proceed to the next step.
For USA/Canada Calls - Dial 1 + Area Code + Destination Number, followed by the # sign.
If your call does not go through the first time you try, do not hang up. Press ##, and the system will try the next carrier.

How do I place an International long distance call?

Dial 1-800-999-5090 or the local access number.
If you are not calling from one of your Instant Access numbers, enter your account number and PIN. If it is one of your Instant Access numbers proceed to the next step.

Do I always have to dial the 800 number?

In order for you to access our service and take advantage of our low rates, you will have to dial either our toll free access number or local access number to place your call. Tel3 now offers local access numbers in certain areas. You choose your local access number by visiting our Access Numbers page.  If you do not dial our access number the calls will be placed through your local phone company or long distance carrier.

Can I use your service from another country?

At this time our service is available from within the United States and Canada.

Can I make consecutive calls without hanging up?

Yes, to place another call without hanging up, simply press "##".
To redial without hanging up, simply press "*#".

What are Speed Dial numbers?

The user can enter up to 99 speed dial numbers online, and assign them 2 digit codes. This list can be printed out so that whenever the user wants to reach one of these numbers they just dial the access number, and the 2-digit speed dial number.

When can I begin using the service?

Upon credit card authorization, your account is automatically active and ready for use.

How can I use Tel3 when I already have a Long Distance phone company or Wireless Service Provider?

Tel3 does not require that you switch your long distance phone company or wireless service provider. Once you sign up for an account, you can start placing calls using our toll free access number (1-800-999-5090) or a local access number, which will allow you to use the services from your home, office, and cell phone. Just dial the access number and the number you wish to reach.

Does Tel3's service work from a rotary phone?

Unfortunately no, a touch-tone telephone is required to place your calls.

What are the increments that I can purchase?

The minimum is $25.00. You can also purchase our service for $50.00 or $100.00.

How many minutes do I get?

The amount of minutes that you get is based on the amount that you sign up for and where you will be calling.
